Daniella Rutner in honor of her son Shua’s birthday.

SHABBAT GROUPS: In this week's parsha, Parshat Beshalach, the Jews are leaving Egypt, trying to escape Pharaoh and the Egyptians. While they are on their way out, they leave in "song" singing the "Shira". This "Shira" is more commonly referred to today as Az Yashir, which we say everyday in davening. This Shabbat in Shul is the "Shabbat of Song" for multiple reasons. Besides for the fact that the Shira is in this parsha, the Shul welcomes a very special guest in Edon Pinchot, a world renowned teenage singer who will be joining us for Shabbat and gracing us with a concert on Motzei Shabbat. This will definitely be a Shabbat you don't want to miss! See you all there!

BNEI AKIVA THIS SHABBAT: Bnei Akiva takes places this Shabbat in the Youth Wing at YIWH from 3:45 until Mincha for all 2nd-6th graders. Come enjoy snacks, games, and much more, for an experience you will not regret.

PARENT CHILD LEARNING: PCL will not take place this Saturday night. See you next Motzei Shabbat. If you want to sponsor for any simcha or a yahrzeit in future weeks, don't hesitate to send us an email at youth@ecdp.info.

TU B’SHEVAT TISH: Now that we have entered the month of Shevat, Tu B'Shevat is right around the corner. In this time of celebration for the new fruit, what better way to portray our happiness than to have a Tish full of singing, Divrei Torahs and Cholent and Kugel! If you are a boy or girl in grades 4-8, come'on down Friday night, February 6th, at 8:00 pm at the home of Yael & Dovi Greenberger, 638 Willow Road. You don't want to miss this! And don't forget, there will be a ton of Tu B'Shevat fruit! See you all there!

YOUTH LEADER EVENT: Every Shabbat during the year, our youth leaders put their best foot forward to make our youth program the success that it is and will continue to be. As a little token of recognition and appreciation to our leaders, we are taking them for bowling and pizza on Sunday, February 8th. Drop-off is at 5PM in Woodmere Lanes and pick-up is between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. Please RSVP as soon as possible to email or text at youth@ecdp.info / 516-780-3380 for a count.
