There will be a Board Meeting on August 18, 2015 at 8:30 pm.
FOR YAMIM NORAIM 2015. We are pleased to announce that we
will shortly begin the process of seat selection for the 2015 Yamim Noraim
(High Holidays). We will be having two separate services for Shacharit/Musaf on
each day of Rosh Hashana and for all the tefilot of Yom Kippur, Hashkama and
Main Sanctuary. There will be a Hashkama Minyan in the basement of Congregation
Shaaray Shalom (“the JCC”) with Shacharit/Musaf beginning at 7:00am. The Main
Sanctuary minyan will begin services at 8:00am on Rosh Hashanah and 8:30am on
Yom Kippur. Both minyanim are open to both men and women and a single
appointment time will be issued to each family by lottery at which they may
purchase seats for individual family members at either minyan. We expect to be
able to accommodate all member seat requests. If you have any questions about
the schedule of services or seat selection process, please send an email to
Yossi Levy, Chair of the Seating Committee at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be sending out notices to
members in good standing for individual seat selection appointments, which will
take place on September 1. On the evening of September 3, we will make
remaining seats available on a first come first served basis. If you are unable
to make the date, you will need to make payment arrangements in advance by
either paying the seat fees using PayPal on the ShulCloud website (link below)
or by sending in a check with your proxy. No seats will be reserved and/or sold
without payment arrangements in place. Non-members and supporters will be able
to purchase seats on September 3 on a first-come first-served basis. Current
Supporters and non-members who wish to become members may do so prior to August
27th and receive a membership seating appointment. Appointment times
will be allocated by lottery; ONLY MEMBERS WHO ARE IN GOOD FINANCIAL
STANDING WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE APPOINTMENT LOTTERY. For this purpose, good
financial standing requires that outstanding balances relating to membership
dues, room rentals, kiddush related pledges and prior year seats be satisfied
(or subject to an agreed arrangement) by August 27, 2015. If you have any
questions about whether you are in good financial standing please send an email
to email@example.com and we will let you know. If there
are members who would like to discuss making alternative financial arrangements
please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and an officer of the Shul will
contact you on a confidential basis (or you may contact an officer of the shul
to discuss). As always, ECDP will strive to accommodate anyone who wishes to be
a part of the congregation. You may review your current balances and make
payments via credit card through ShulCloud - http://eitzchayim.shulcloud.com/. Financial obligations and pledges may be redeemed online
by making an online payment through the ShulCloud system. Members who are in
good standing will receive notice of their lottery eligibility on or before
August 31. Along with payment for seats, one half of annual or supporter dues
as well as the ECDP youth fee (which is a maximum of $36 per family with
eligible youth) are payable at the time of seat selection. If you intend to
have a designated proxy or to have the seating committee select seats for you,
please make sure that payment is remitted and confirmed before your seat
selection appointment time. We will be accepting credit cards both at seat selection
appointments. If you are using the ShulCloud site, please indicate you are
making an advance payment for seats when adding the payment to your account.
For 2015, seat pricing and membership remains unchanged from 2014 and is as
