SHABBAT GROUPS: In this week's Parsha, Parshat Behar-Bechukotai, we are introduced to the concept of Shemittah. This concept refers to farmers working the land and growing fruits and vegetables for six years followed by a year where they can't work on the land at all or benefit from anything that grows on the land. Hashem always plans that in the sixth year, there will be more than enough fruit to last the farmers for the next three years. Luckily for us, that only occurs in Israel and even so, we are not in the seventh year of the cycle. We will be giving out fruit this Shabbat in groups to celebrate the abundance of fruit that we have and it will definitely be a "sweet" Shabbat! Hope to see you all on Shabbat!

BNEI AKIVA: Last SNIF/B'nei Akiva Program of the year - Shabbat Afternoon - All 2nd -6th graders are invited to enjoy a special Shabbat afternoon from 6:30 pm until Mincha with our B'nei Akiva Snif leaders. Don't miss out!
